I grew up in Hurst and graduated from Lawrence D. Bell High School. After earning a Bachelor’s of Business Administration at Texas Woman’s University, I felt compelled to help children with learning differences. While teaching students, both in general education and special education in Fort Worth ISD, I earned a Master’s of Education from Texas Woman’s University in 2005. I’ve served as an educational diagnostician in both Fort Worth ISD and Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD for several years. Most recently I served as an assessment specialist at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children at the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Learning Disorders. My greatest passion is helping children succeed by showing parents and teachers ways to tailor their teaching methods to match each child’s unique learning style.
I typically spend my leisure time with my husband. I enjoy cycling, crocheting prayer shawls, cooking, reading and hanging out with friends.
